Triple Threat: Keeping Girls in School with Dignity

Sanitary pad distribution – Triple Threat campaign

As part of our Triple Threat response — tackling new HIV infections, teenage pregnancies, and gender-based violence among adolescent girls and young women — FAWS recently carried out a sanitary pad distribution drive in our community.

Period poverty keeps too many girls out of the classroom. By providing reusable and disposable sanitary towels alongside menstrual health education, we help girls stay in school, stay healthy, and stay confident.

The sessions also created a safe space for honest conversations about growing up, consent, and where to seek help. Our team reminded the girls that they are not alone — FAWS and its partners are here to support them.

We are grateful to everyone who made this activity possible. Small actions protect big futures
